Yaoguang Pavilion Theatre – China
The Yaoguang Pavilion recently had a new play on its programme that came with special sound, lighting, staging and visual effects requirements. In order to work with the director’s vision and create a truly awe-inspiring theatrical spectacle, the venue needed to pull off a scene that emulated an approaching landing plane – and then accommodate a plane entering the stage itself. Not an easy feat. But with a series of Amadeus speakers combining DiGiCo, RME and Lab Gruppen technologies connected to a Reaper DAW, the Yaoguang Pavilion successfully emulated an accurate representation of an approaching propeller-powered plane.
